Pilgrim Ranch
Plein Air at the Arboretum

Pilgrim Ranch

A group of us stayed at the Pilgrim Ranch during a painting trip in the Flint Hills. This was a view we found on one of our outings.

Plein Air at the Arboretum

This was painted at the Overland Park Arboretum.

Home on the Flint Hills

While painting in the Prairie Plein Air event last
year in the Flint Hills we came across a lot of cows.

Flint Hills Cows

....and more cows. They make great subjects for paintings! The image area is 5" X 5".

Killcreek Hill

This is also a miniature, 4" X 6". This is on the
north side of Killcreek just south of where we
live.

Beyond Killcreek

This is another scene from my own backyard. I walked south and when I crossed Killcreek this is what I saw.

Snow Bales

This is a small pastel on pastelbord made
by Ampersand. It is painted from a photo-
graph taken in Gardner at 143rd and Gardner
Road.

Madeline Landscape

This is a pastel on Art Spectrum paper of a town called Madeline, Missouri. Once upon
a time my greatgrand-mother lived there. Although now neither the town nor this house exists.

Dana's Farm

This farm is just East of where I live. I drive
by it often. One day, however the morning sun
gave these buildings the most wonderful glow.

Flint Hills Storm

This spring while Plein Air painting in the Flint
Hills a storm came up. It was an awesome sight
as I took many photos before jumping in the car.
